UNDERSTANDING THE GAME:
TEAM GAME: All players are placed on either the red team or the
blue team. Teams are composed of 2-10 players each.
Objective: Each player strives to tag as many opponent team players as
possible.
ANARCHY GAME: All players are vested in blue vests.
Players may tag any other player.
Objective: Each player strives to tag as many opponents as possible.
SCORING: All players receive a score sheet at the end of the game.
Players score:
100 points for each tag of an opponent
1 points for every shot a player fires
150 points are deducted for each time a player tags a teammate (if it's a team game)
EQUIPMENT:
Each player wears a $2500 fiber-optic vest equipped with a laser
emitting phaser. The phaser sends out a digital pulse laser beam, allowing receivers to sense who tagged who. Each receiver communicates with the central computer via radio waves.
Each
phaser also emits a broad beam for close quarter conflicts. The broad
beam, like the laser, is a modulated pulse signal.
PHILOSOPHICAL NOTE: AT LASER MANIA WE PLAY TAG WITH HIGH-TECH TOYS. WE ALWAYS USE PHASERS TO ZAP AND TAG, HAVING FUN AND SCORING POINTS. WE NEVER USE GUNS TO SHOOT OUR ENEMIES.
